Born in Tanzania, Heri graduated with a BSC Economics degree from Cardiff Business school at the University of Wales in the UK.

Heri founded and leads the Pangani Group, a diversified investment Group with interests in Property Development, Property Services, and Financial Services in Tanzania.

Pangani Real Estate Services, a subsidiary of the Group, is the Tanzania associate company for US Fortune 500 professional services and investment management firm Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL).

Before establishing the new Group, he was CEO & Managing Director of KCB Tanzania, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kenya Commercial Bank which is East Africa's biggest regional bank. Prior to KCB, Heri spent 11 years at Standard Chartered Bank lastly serving as Retail Director where he led the way in building a strong retail franchise that took the Tanzania market by storm.

Heri is also an Executive Director of MLC Properties a German regulated property fund, and non Exec. Director of a number of leading businesses in Tanzania including UBA Bank, and TMARC.

Heri sits on the Africa Advisory Board of the International Council of Shopping Centres. He is a fellow of the African Leadership Initiative, and a member of the Aspen Global Network.
